The Reception House of Hualien Farm

The architecture is a traditional Japanese wood-framed construction. Though the external appearance and the garden have been reconstructed, its former layout remains the same. The institution, possessing the ownership, has let the residence as a guest house; that is to say, the historic structure has been re-used. The external walls were painted white; nevertheless, Japanese wood construction style is still easily seen from the design of its windows, doors, and the roof.
