Gongxia Stony Coffin (Stony Coffin I & Stony Coffin II)

Gongxia Stony Coffin I: This stony coffin is large in size and heavy. It has significant meaning and is one of the important relics of the late Qilin Culture from Eastern Taiwan during the Neolithic Age. It is of great preservation and research value and significance. The well-preserved Stony Coffin is highly valuable. It is the only semi-finished stony coffin found in Taiwan so far. Its local cultural characteristic and features of the age make it truly precious and rare.
Gongxia Stony Coffin II: The side walls of this stony coffin protrude outwardly; it is a classic megalithic piece from the Qilin Culture. This stony coffin is large in size and heavy, which is of significant meaning. It is one of the important relics of the late Qilin Culture from Eastern Taiwan during the Neolithic Age. It is of great preservation and research value and significance. It is the only stony coffin buried underground, and contains relatively complete geographic information. It can illustrate the context of the stony coffin in the prehistoric culture, giving it great cultural and scientific value.
