Museum of Fine Arts

The Hualien County Cultural Affairs Bureau was formerly known as the Heritage Gallery, which officially opened on December 25, 1983; the name was changed to the Museum of Fine Arts in 2003.

Taiwan's only African artifacts museum is also established here. There are over 1000 African artifacts on display including sculptures, masks, metalwork, different types of carvings, pottery, weapons and hunting equipment, and musical instruments.
