策劃單位：花蓮縣警察局。策劃理念：以警徽之和平鴿為創作發想，分別設置在2支立柱上，代表警察日以繼夜維持治安。作品說明：和平鴿為警察的化身，雙翼展開象徵守護這片純樸祥和的花蓮，無論白天或夜晚鴿鳥永遠忠誠辛勤地環視，不捨晝夜地維護治安。人民需要的協助，是警察的日常；人民在乎的安定，是警察的使命；只要有警鴿所在之處，民眾皆能感受平安與幸福。The peace pigeon is the embodiment of the police. Its spread wings symbolize the protection of the unspoiled and peaceful land, Hualien. The pigeon is always loyal and diligent, making inspection tours and maintaining public order irrespective of the time of day and night. Helping people is the daily routine of the police, the social stability that people care about is the mission of the police.
Wherever there is a police pigron, there is safety and happiness.
