The Santo and Relics of Fengtian Shinto Shrine (Bilian Temple)

I. Reasons for registration
The site is where Fengian Immigrant Shinto Shrine in Japanese Colonial Period was. The remained torii, stone lantern, komainu(shrine dog), and santo are important to the construction of a Shinto shrine. Despite the disappearance of the shrine, its relics are valuable. On the other hand, both the memorial marking the thirtieth anniversary of village establishment and the well on the same site are historically and culturally valuable. They are both registered as a historic structure along with the relics of Fengtian Shinto shrine.
II. Regulations of registration:
The registration is based on the Article 15 of The Cultural Heritage Preservation Act and the Article 4 of The Auxiliary Regulations of Reviewing the Registration and Abolishment of Historical Structures.
III. The announcement is issued in accordance with the amendment of Fu Wen Zi Zi Document No. 0990079195A on May 12th, 2010.
