Memorial of Jiye Immigrant Village

Jiye was the first immigrant village established in the Japanese Colonial Period. There were two monuments of Town monument and Extending Lands to Villages monument left to serve as a specific object proof of village of immigrants. Moreover, the 16th Governor-General of Taiwan, Nakagawa Kenzo, carved on the stones, making them historically valuable.
The two memorials are in a good condition and so as to their surroundings. Besides, the base of Extending Lands to Villages monument is piled up with Japanese natural stones, which has the value of architecture.
