作品介紹
作品由多組不同影像敘事組成，呈現台灣東部沿海現在及過去的遺跡。作品以緊連太平洋的花蓮溪出海口為主，島嶼與海洋的交界處，是野生鳥類重要的棲息地和海洋資源的匯集地。潮流帶來的豐富海洋資源，讓捕鰻苗者站在強勁海浪前進行捕撈。而該區域更是史前遺址的所在地，保存了幾千年前人類生活的跡象。此件作品以動態攝影、3D掃描將該區域的人群行為、遺留物件、自然環境等轉換成數位資料。結合真實數據、數位模擬等手法，探索東部沿海同一空間不同時間所遺留的痕跡，探討時間是否能成為能量轉化的一種可能，空間則是不同時間擴張所積累的一種結果。
The work consists of multiple sets of different video narratives, presenting the relics of the present and past of the eastern coast of Taiwan. The work is mainly based on the Hualien Creek estuary close to the Pacific Ocean. The junction between the island and the ocean is an important habitat for wild birds and a gathering place for marine resources. The abundant ocean resources brought about by the tide make eel catchers stand in front of strong waves to fish. More over this area is the prehistoric sites, which preserved the signs of human life thousands of years ago. This work uses dynamic photography and 3D scanning to convert the crowd behavior, legacy objects, natural environment, etc. in the area into digital data. Combining real data, digital simulation and other techniques, it explores the traces left over in the same space on the eastern coast at different times. Furthermore, explores the time whether it can become a possibility of energy conversion, or space is a result of accumulation of different time expansion.
